This Cookie Policy explains how DeployNation (“DeployNation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit DeployNation.com (the “Website”).

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files or pieces of data that websites may store on or access through your browser or device.

Cookies can perform different functions. For example, they may help a website operate correctly, maintain security, remember preferences, understand how visitors use a website, or measure website performance.

Some cookies expire when you close your browser, while others may remain on your device for a specified period or until you delete them.

2. How DeployNation Uses Cookies

DeployNation may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • Operating and maintaining the Website
  • Providing essential Website functionality
  • Maintaining Website security
  • Preventing fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Remembering certain preferences
  • Understanding Website performance
  • Measuring Website traffic and usage
  • Diagnosing technical problems
  • Improving Website content and usability
  • Understanding how visitors find and interact with DeployNation

The cookies and technologies used on the Website may change as we add, remove, or modify Website functionality.

3. Essential Cookies

Some cookies or similar technologies may be necessary for the Website to function properly.

Essential technologies may support functions such as:

  • Website security
  • Network management
  • Form functionality
  • Spam prevention
  • Session management
  • User preferences
  • Technical functionality

Because these technologies may be necessary to provide requested Website functionality or maintain security, they may operate differently from optional analytics or marketing technologies.

4. Analytics Cookies

DeployNation may use analytics technologies to better understand how visitors use the Website.

Analytics may provide information such as:

  • Number of Website visitors
  • Pages viewed
  • Approximate traffic sources
  • Session information
  • Browser and device information
  • General Website interactions
  • Approximate geographic information
  • Website performance information

We may use this information to understand Website performance and improve our content, navigation, services, and user experience.

5. Google Analytics

DeployNation may use Google Analytics in the future to measure and understand Website usage.

If Google Analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar technologies to collect information concerning interactions with the Website. Google states that its default Analytics implementation can collect information such as session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser and device information, and Website activity. Google Analytics can use a first-party _ga cookie containing a client identifier to distinguish users and sessions.

DeployNation will not intentionally send information such as names or email addresses to Google Analytics as analytics identifiers. Google prohibits its Analytics customers from sending personally identifiable information to Google Analytics.

If DeployNation implements Google Analytics, we may configure available privacy controls and consent settings as appropriate for our Website and legal obligations.

Google provides controls that allow Analytics customers to manage features including data collection, granular location and device information, advertising features, advertising personalization, and data retention.

Google also provides a browser add-on that users may use to opt out of Google Analytics measurement.

6. Advertising and Targeted Advertising

DeployNation does not currently use the Website to sell personal information for monetary compensation, and we do not currently use Website visitor information for third-party targeted advertising.

If we introduce advertising, remarketing, advertising measurement, or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy as appropriate.

Where required by applicable law, we will also provide appropriate privacy choices concerning those technologies.

7. Third-Party Technologies

Some Website functions may rely on third-party service providers.

Depending on the Website functionality enabled at a particular time, third parties may provide services relating to:

  • Website hosting
  • Security
  • Spam prevention
  • Analytics
  • Website performance
  • Forms
  • Embedded content
  • Communications
  • Other Website functionality

These providers may use cookies or similar technologies when necessary to provide their services.

Third-party technologies are also subject to the applicable provider’s privacy policies and terms.

8. Website Forms

DeployNation provides forms through which prospective and existing customers may contact us or request project information and quotes.

When you submit a form, information you intentionally enter into that form is treated separately from information stored through cookies.

For example, a quote request may include your name, business contact information, company, project location, requested services, and project details.

For additional information about how we handle information submitted through Website forms, please review our Privacy Policy.

9. Managing Cookies Through Your Browser

Most modern browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings.

Depending on your browser, you may be able to:

  • View stored cookies
  • Delete cookies
  • Block certain cookies
  • Block all cookies
  • Limit third-party cookies
  • Configure preferences for individual websites
  • Receive notifications concerning certain cookie activity

Blocking or deleting cookies may affect Website functionality.

Browser controls are provided by the browser developer and may change over time. Consult your browser’s help documentation for current instructions.

10. Cookie Consent and Preferences

Where required by applicable law, DeployNation may provide a cookie banner, consent-management tool, or other mechanism that allows Website visitors to make choices regarding certain non-essential technologies.

The choices available may depend on the visitor’s location, applicable law, and the technologies enabled on the Website.

If a consent-management mechanism is provided, changing your preferences generally affects the applicable browser or device. You may need to make your selection again when using another browser or device or after clearing cookies.

If we implement Google Analytics in circumstances requiring consent, Google provides consent mechanisms through which Analytics and other Google tags can modify their behavior based on a visitor’s consent choices.

11. Global Privacy Control and Universal Opt-Out Signals

Some browsers and browser extensions allow users to communicate privacy preferences through signals such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).

Where applicable law requires DeployNation to recognize a supported universal opt-out mechanism, we will process qualifying signals as required by law.

Colorado recognizes GPC as a Universal Opt-Out Mechanism for consumers to communicate applicable choices concerning sale of personal data and targeted advertising. Covered businesses subject to the Colorado Privacy Act have been required to recognize qualifying universal opt-out requests since July 1, 2024.

Because DeployNation does not currently use Website visitor information for third-party targeted advertising or sell personal information for monetary compensation, some opt-out signals may not result in a visible change to your Website experience.

If our practices change, we will update our policies and applicable privacy controls.

12. Do Not Track

Some web browsers include a “Do Not Track” or similar setting.

Because there is not a single universally implemented standard governing all Do Not Track signals, Website responses to these signals may vary.

This is distinct from legally recognized privacy preference mechanisms, such as qualifying universal opt-out signals, which DeployNation will address as required by applicable law.

13. Data Collected Through Analytics

If analytics technologies are enabled, the information collected may include information about how visitors interact with the Website rather than information visitors intentionally submit through a contact or quote form.

For example, analytics information may include:

  • Page views
  • Sessions
  • Referral sources
  • Device categories
  • Browser information
  • Approximate geographic information
  • Website events and interactions

We intend to use analytics information to understand Website performance and improve DeployNation’s Website and services, not to sell customer information.

14. Data Retention

Different cookies and technologies may remain active for different periods.

Some cookies expire at the end of a browsing session, while persistent cookies may remain until their expiration date or until you delete them.

If DeployNation implements an analytics platform, applicable retention periods may also be configured within that platform.

For example, Google Analytics provides data-retention controls that allow site operators to configure how long certain user-level and event-level data is retained before automatic deletion.

15. Protecting Customer Confidentiality

DeployNation provides B2B IT deployment and field services, and we recognize that customers may entrust us with confidential business and technical information.

Cookies and Website analytics are not intended to be used to expose customer project information or confidential technical information.

We do not sell customer project information.

Information concerning customer projects is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable contractual confidentiality requirements.

16. Changes to This Cookie Policy

DeployNation may update this Cookie Policy as our Website, technologies, services, or legal obligations change.

For example, we may update this policy if we:

  • Add or remove analytics technologies
  • Introduce new Website functionality
  • Add advertising technologies
  • Change Website service providers
  • Implement a consent-management platform
  • Change our data practices
  • Need to address changes in applicable law

When this policy is updated, the Last Updated date at the top of the page will be revised.

We encourage visitors to review this page periodically.
