Nationwide Rack & Stack Services

DeployNation installs servers and network equipment for businesses across the United States. Our rack and stack technicians mount, connect, and label your equipment. You get help at your site without sending your own team. We follow your plan, so your engineers stay in control.
From one server to several full racks, we handle the physical work. We support IT teams, managed service providers (MSPs), IT integrators, and data centers.
You Send the Plan. We Handle the Rack.
Your team plans the setup. We provide the hands to build it.
- Install rails and mount equipment.
- Connect power and network cables.
- Organize cables and add labels.
- Check the work and record the results.
We work in offices, server rooms, network closets, data centers, and shared data center sites called colocation facilities.

What Does Rack & Stack Include?

We agree on the work before the visit. Your project can include the services below.
Rack Setup
We check your rack layout, then install rails, shelves, brackets, and cable organizers. Each device goes in the spot your plan calls for.
Heavy equipment may need extra technicians or lifting tools.
Server Installation
Our technicians can:
- Unpack and check servers.
- Install rails and mount each server.
- Connect power and network cables.
- Add labels and check status lights.
- Remove old hardware as your approved plan directs.
Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
We mount and connect network devices using your diagrams and rack layout. Your port map tells us where each cable goes.
Need your remote engineer involved? Our Remote Hands & Smart Hands services let them guide a technician at the rack.
UPS and PDU Installation
We can mount compatible UPS systems and PDUs as part of your approved plan. These provide battery backup and power connections for your equipment.
We follow your power instructions, including separate A and B power feeds where needed.
Copper and Fiber Connections
We connect copper, fiber, and direct attach copper (DAC) cables using your port map. We label and record the connections to match your rules.
Need new permanent network cables? We can plan that work through our Structured Cabling services.
New Server Rooms and Racks
Starting with an empty rack? We turn your approved design into a finished physical setup.
- Check the equipment list, rack space, and layout.
- Install rails, shelves, and mounting parts.
- Mount servers, network devices, storage, and approved power units.
- Connect the planned power feeds and network cables.
- Organize cables and add labels.
- Check equipment placement and connections.
- Take required photos and record equipment details.
- Finish your checklist and hand the work back to your engineers.
We follow your site rules, approved work hours, and steps for making changes.
Rack Upgrades and Equipment Replacements
Need to update a rack that is already in use? We can help you:
- Add servers or storage.
- Replace switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Remove and replace old equipment.
- Move devices to new spots in the rack.
Tell us what must stay running and which devices depend on each other. Include shutdown steps, approved work times, and tasks that need your engineer’s approval.
Your Engineer Can Stay Remote
Your engineer does not need to travel to every rack. Send the plan and have them available for questions. Our technician handles the physical work at the site.
When needed, your engineer can guide the work live. This helps teams that support customers, branches, or offices in several states.
After setup, our Remote Hands & Smart Hands services can help with future tasks at the rack.

Rack & Stack Pricing
Choose hourly or per rack pricing to plan your project. We will confirm the work and cost in your written quote.
Rack & Stack Rates
| Service | Price | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Hourly installation | $150 per technician per hour | 3 hours ($450 per technician) |
| Per rack installation | $2,400 per rack | 1 rack |
Both options cover installing, connecting, and labeling equipment using your plan.
Per rack pricing covers an agreed equipment list and cabling plan. Larger or more complex builds need a separate quote.
What Affects the Cost?
These details help us price your job:
- Number, size, and weight of devices
- Crew size and time needed
- Cable connections and labels
- Site access rules
- Required photos and records
Travel, work outside normal hours, and special project costs will be listed in your written quote.
Hourly work has a three hour minimum per technician, or $450. This is the minimum labor charge, not an added fee.
Some jobs need two technicians to lift or handle equipment. We will confirm the crew size and estimated hours before scheduling.
